Current Project: Uniforms for Mason Students

KUMC's Vacation Bible School students adopted Mason School students as their mission project. Throughout the week they donated $ that will help Mason School families get uniforms for the new school year. In one short week the children collected over $780 dollars! They also brought in some uniforms they'd purchased and small "trinket" toys (e.g., Happy Meal toys), pencils, pens, small note pads, stickers, etc. that Mason teachers will use as incentives throughout the next school year.

Thank you to the VBS children for showing the KUMC community how to really embrace a project!

Now it's everyone else's turn: the entire KUMC community is invited to bring in uniforms or donate funds throughout the month of July - uniforms and small toys should be brought to the donation room.

Mason School uniforms consist of polo (collared) shirts, both short- and long-sleeved in the following colors: white, light blue and green. Khaki or navy blue slacks and shorts for boys and girls; girls can also wear khaki or navy blue skirts or skorts.
